Rates shown above are the nominal interest rates for amounts of $1,000. Interest is generally calculated daily and payable monthly, however this may vary from institution to institution.
The UBank maximum interest rate includes bonus interest of 0.50%p.a. if you set up an Automatic Savings Plan (ASP) of at least $200 (or more) each month. Savings Bonus accrues the month after setting up an ASP and applies to USaver account balances less than $200,000 per customer (including all USaver joint accounts).
The maximum interest rate of other financial institutions may include introductory rates that apply for a certain period of time and bonus rates (such as loyalty or savings bonuses) that apply after satisfying a certain criteria.
