This tongue-tying acronym simply helps email providers and ISP‘s make sure that the emails we send you are legitimate, and blocks emails that aren‘t.
Firewalls
These prevent potentially dangerous material from entering UBank‘s systems.
Session Tokens
These are used to keep scammers out, so your banking session will never be compromised.
128-bit Secure Sockets Layer Encryption
This is the strongest commercially available form of encoding information, and means even if your data is intercepted, it can‘t be read.
Digital certificates
These are used to verify the identity and authenticity of our websites. To see it, click on the lock on your screen.
Website security scans
We carry these out regularly to check for any vulnerabilities.
Banking sessions timeout facility
This means we‘ll automatically log you out if you‘ve been inactive for a while.
Maximum transfer limits
As an additional precaution, we limit the maximum you can transfer via Online Banking each business day. If you need to transfer more, give us a call on 13 30 80 and we can arrange for this to be paid into one of your linked accounts.
Lockout
UBank will automatically block access to Online Banking after a number of failed logins.
VeriSign digital certificates
These verify that you‘re connected to the real UBank.
